This festive and fun event benefited student programs in the Snohomish School District. Students from the Snohomish High School Drumline led by Band Director, Jordan Johnson, kicked off the evening on a high-energy note. Snohomish School District Superintendent Kent Kultgen gave an inspiring message about the importance of education and great teachers. Kultgen was followed by words of wisdom from longtime Snohomish High School Science teacher, Tony Stapleton, a recipient of previous SEF Classroom Grants. The Snohomish Education Foundation Annual Auction was held recently at the Tulalip Resort Casino Orca Ballroom. One of the evening’s big-ticket items – two custom steel wall decor art – one for Snohomish High School and one for Glacier Peak High School, created by Fabricating & Manufacturing students at SHS, led by teacher, Matt Johnson “This community continues to inspire me with its generosity and support of our schools! The 2022 SEF auction was a huge success. With 340 guests, it was our largest turnout ever to celebrate the students, teachers and staff of the Snohomish School District,” said Keely Reinhard, SEF Board President and Auction Committee Co-Chair.
